Deep Words
There are shepherds all around us but there is just one Good Shepherd. All that came before the Good Shepherd were thieves and robbers (John 10:7-8).
Nothing is called “Good” except it has been tried and tested. The Good Shepherd did that which no one has ever done for others by laying down His life for His sheep (John 10:15), As the Father knows me, even so I know the Father and I lay down my Life for my sheep.
Day to day, He speaks and there is no language in which His voice cannot be heard (Psalm 19:1-3). He speaks in diverse languages and His voice can only be heard by His sheep (John 10:4). And when He brings out His own sheep, He goes before them and the sheep “Follow” Him for they know His voice, His voice is over the trouble waters of life. The voice of the Lord is powerful the voice of the Lord is full of Majesty the voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire. It shakes the wilderness of lack and want. The same voice is enthroned over flood of wickedness. It delivers strength and blessing to His people (Psalm 29:3-11).
Obedience to His voice in any issue of life will make you a showpiece to your world. If you will diligently obey the Lord your God to observe carefully all His commandments, then the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth (Deuteronomy 28:1-14). Disobedience to His voice is to embark on a journey to destruction and regret. Because you disdained all my counsel, and would not have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes. When your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish comes upon you (Proverbs 1:25-27).
Beloved, except you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are not a candidate for His voice. Repent and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. You will not only hear His voice, He will call you by name and lead you. Your life will be filled with testimonies of His leading.
Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd!
