Do not weep
Weeping is a place of helplessness. Why do you weep when you have a savior that came and died, that you may have life in abundance?
When he came near the city, behold a dead man was being carried out. The only son of his mother and she was a widow (Luke 7:12). When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her “do not weep”.
Jesus touched the opened coffin and those who carried it stood still. Situations of life stand still at His presence. Even red seas of life cannot dare His presence, they must flee (Psalm 114:3). And He said, ‘young man I say unto you, arise’. Jesus the same yesterday, the same today, and the same forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is here to wipe away your secret tears.
There is an invitation, ‘come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matt 11:28). All you need to do is ‘come’ and as long as you come, the assurance of rest is what you will get. Only Christ gives Eternal rest and peace. Every other thing that seems to satisfy is only for a season; Only Jesus gives a greater satisfaction. Your circumstances are not a measuring stick of God’s love. Going through tough time does not mean God does not love you as much as he loves someone else. The good news is, Jesus came to take away tears and give Joy (John 16:33); “ In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”.

You need not remain in bondage that harasses you, and steals your joy. Allow Him to come into your life, He will not only wipe away your secret tears, He will convert and change the hopeless issues of your life into testimony. He did it for the widow of Nain; He will surely do it for you. For God is not a respecter of persons.
Above all needs, the salvation of your soul is crucial to your living on the face of the earth. The decision to take Jesus as your Lord and savior today is the most important decision of your life. Decide you want to spend eternity with Him and your life will never remain the same.
