Praise is what brings God’s presence to your situation. Situations of Life will bow to nothing, except for the presence of God. Our mountain cannot see God and not flee (Psalm 114:3), “The sea saw it, and fled, Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs”. Why? Because ‘Judah’, Praise is His sanctuary. The disciples learnt this lesson when a terrible storm came upon them. They did all they could do, but the storm was too strong for them to overcome until they called for His presence and the storm was silenced (Mark 4:35-41). You have done all that you know how to do, yet no result. Why don’t you call down His presence in praise? God wants you to know that without Him you can do nothing (John 15:5). We worry so much because we think we have to fix everything. God is the one who fixes things and not us. Our responsibility is to make the condition right, so that He can do those things which only He can do. When we make room for Him through praise, He comes in and then takes over.
Take for example these great people of God:
Jehoshaphat (2 Chronicle 20:22), Paul and Silas (Act 16:25-26). What bailed them in their situations? Now take time out this season and give Him quality praise. If He didn’t spare His only begotten Son, what else can He not give up? Thank Him for so many things He has done for you and you will see the manifestation of His power in your situation.
The Lord on High is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea mightier than the waves of the sea (Psalm 93:4). In His presence our souls are at rest and our labor is easy. Praise turns impossibility to victory.
